I strive to give my best, do my best, and be my best in as many meaningful ways as possible. I appreciate how often the many types of support have assisted me when I stumble. Going blind caused a pretty massive stumble in my life and the training and services which led me to the incredible life I live today are the reasons I founded 2020 Vision Quest. I didn’t do that alone either as my wife Tracy and so many incredible people came together to create an organization that has made a powerful and positive difference.
As I set out to race the first ever visually impaired para-athletic division of the Boston Marathon, my goal is not to win the race. My goal is to race my best. More importantly, I have a much greater goal to help our charity, 2020 Vision Quest, strive to support the fundraising essential for our critical mission.
These have been difficult years for many and our efforts are particularly needed, which is why I’m excited to share that our Board of Directors have come together to create a Marathon Match donation campaign to support our charitable mission and double every dollar donated for the week leading to and through my Marathon Monday race.
Will you join me and our team in supporting this effort? Every donation is doubled until the Marathon match of $3,401 has been achieved.
We’ve setup a page to make it easy for you and to express our appreciation for those helping me get through those miles with a little extra inspiration and a lot more appreciation.
